I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Scantron (Omaha, NE) in May 2024
Interview
Not too difficult, managers were very nice. Company is midsize and going thru a lot of changes with mergers and acquisitions. Not sure about the revenue or growth yet. HR and onboarding process was very thorough, employees go thru a backround check and drug testing.

I applied online. I interviewed at Scantron in Nov 2023
Interview
Applied and received an email from a Help Desk Operations Manager asking for a 30-minute Teams interview. Application to interview took about a week. Initially, when logging into the interview there was another unknown Help Desk Operations Manager logged in and said they represented the Secur-Serv side of the Help Desk. The primary HD Ops Mgr logged joined moments later. *The Ops Mgr email requesting the interview had no signature block of the interviewer and was suspicious. I was tempted to contact Scantron HR to verify the person's identity. >During the Teams interview, both Help Desk Operations Managers' video feeds were absent. When I mentioned the issue, there was no answer, and the conversation was redirected. Also suspicious. >>Further, there was 'no' information related to these individual's backgrounds or histories found via web search or on the LinkedIn Scantron Employees page.

I applied through other source. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Scantron (Houston, TX) in Feb 2022
Interview
I originally applied on one of the job boards. I received a call from the hiring manager about a week later. We had a good talk. I was then invited to take an electrical an mechanical skills test, in which I had passed them both. I then had an interview with the National Service Manager. That interview went well. Finally, I followed up with the hiring manager.
About a week later, the hiring manager gave me a verbal offer. Although the salary was less than my expectations, I still considered accepting the offer. I was planning on signing the offer letter after my background check and drug test. However, a misunderstanding between management and HR, I needed to sign the offer letter. That miscommunication was the reason for declining the offer. Also, the pay cut would have drastically affected my financial situation.
Thank you for your review. If someone does not sign their offer letter, we cannot proceed with a background check and so I'm not quite understanding your comments. Best to you in the future.
