First screening interview was with HR over the phone - ~ 30 minutes long with different non-technical questions. Then followed scheduling of 2 on-site interviews with hub directors. Interviews were shceduled for the same day but with 3 hours difference. Desired meetings timeframe was not asked, so be prepared to take day-off.
There are 5 interviews for managers and 4 for engineers:
- System design
- Leadership (this one only for the managers)
- Coding
- System architecture
- Computer science fundamentals
- Product owner review
First interview was for the system design. Director asked how I would made a URL minification service (TinyURL like). It was almost 1 hour long discussion.
Second interview was for the leadership. Another director came, 10 minutes told how great he is in leadership and management and then we discussed my last project from all aspects.
In ~2 weeks HR called me back and informed, that feedback was not quite good and they are looking for "another kind of manager". My overal impression about process was rather neutral.
