I applied online. I interviewed at Schneider Electric (Bengaluru) in May 2026
Interview
Recently attended the interview process for a Senior Mechanical Engineer opportunity at Schneider Electric, and overall it was a very positive experience. The discussions were professional, technically engaging, and well-structured. The interview panel focused not only on technical expertise but also on practical engineering problem-solving, manufacturing understanding, and cross-functional collaboration.
The interaction with the engineering leadership team felt open and respectful, with good emphasis on real-world switchgear engineering challenges, ETO activities, GD&T, and design ownership. The HR coordination throughout the process was very good as well. The HR team explained the role, interview stages, and overall process clearly and professionally, making the experience smooth and comfortable.
Overall, the process reflected a strong engineering culture and a collaborative work environment. A great experience for professionals looking to grow in the power distribution and switchgear domain.
