I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Schneider Electric (Columbia, SC) in Feb 2025
Interview
The Interview process was very confusing. Initially I received an email stating I wasn't accepted into the program. Then I received an email asking to do an online recorded interview with Hirevue. After this I was assured that my application was being seriously taken into consideration, to which I received an email stating that they had canceled the role. Big waste of time.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked to describe some of the skills that would make me good for the role.
I got a hirevue request first as an initial screening process, it was a few behavioral questions and you get a few minutes to prepare before answering in a video recording.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Schneider Electric (Andover, MA) in Mar 2026
Interview
Tour was great. Employees were friendly and happy to talk about what line of work they were in or working on. Project space was excellent. Explanation of current project was thorough and easy to understand as a novice engineer. Responses to questions were very descriptive and thought through. I had a great time in the tour. Interview process was quick and easy. Questions were personal, some related to the line of work and some not. Very well balanced interview.

Question 1

HireVue interview in the first round. Basic questions on your behavioural characteristics. Worded quite differently from how you might usually expect them to come, Seemingly unlimited attempts even though it says 2 attempts. Gives you time to practice as well.
