I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at SchoolMint in Apr 2021
Interview
I was interviewed by three account managers and a recruiter. They asked me questions about my experience, what-if scenarios, and SchoolMint's core values. I had a good experience. Make sure you do your research and understand what the position requires.

The recruiter did not even show up to the Zoom call she scheduled and when I emailed her she emailed me a request for another Zoom link for a hour later. Just apologized and made excuses for being late. Then she was late for the second interview she rescheduled at noon.
The recruiter was not paying attention to what I was saying and cutting me off while I was speaking. I found it strange for me to have my camera on during the interview while all she had up was her picture. The recruiter suggests another position much like other Glassdoor interview reviews indicate. I advised her of my education and work experience as well as my certifications in Customer Service as a instructor of CSR and Sales Specialist.
You all need a recruiter who does not waste people’s time intentionally. I have read the reviews and your process for recruitment has been bad for a little over a year and you all have a recruiter like this representing your company.
This has been the absolute worst interview process I have ever experienced. You might want to “move ahead” with another recruiter.

Question 1
Would you consider the Customer Success Specialist position instead of a manager position?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at SchoolMint (Lafayette, LA) in Oct 2021

I could not see working for this company given the initial recruiting process. The recruiter indicates the phone screening is a phone call but sends a Zoom meeting invitation. The immediate reaction when you call is to indicate that you should be on video. If that is the case, then be clear about that request in the initial outreach.
Then the recruiter suggests another position much like other Glassdoor interview reviews indicate. Subsequent follow ups included canceled meetings and contacting me using the wrong name. I withdrew my consideration of the position.
Fix your recruitment process! This will be an impediment to getting and retaining talent down the line. Awful, just awful. This experience rates in the bottom 10% of my job searches lifetime. 😒
