I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Scotiabank in Sept 2022
Interview
Straight to the point and fairly structured. Mostly behavioral questions with an easy case study. Went through a video submission, and two rounds of virtual interviews. First was with an HR manager and business line director and second was with HR senior manager and business line VP

Question 1
Tell me a time where you had to handle a big chunk of data and what did you do and the impact that it had?
Really friendly call with someone from HR. Nothing too complex but they have a keen interest on key accomplishments and team work. They will get back to you with an update making you feel optimistic, but then a generic decline letter is provided several weeks later.

Question 1
What was your typical work load and how did you find it (challenging, rewarding etc).
The entire procedure is remarkably swift, taking a mere two weeks from the initial stage all the way to the final completion. You can expect a rapid turnaround, where every step in the process unfolds efficiently and effectively within this short timeframe
Interviewer was kind, asked some tough questions, but I think he had a specific candidate in mind. The issue was more that he specifically said, "We don't like to leave candidates hanging, so you'll hear from us soon."
That's fine - but HR never followed up, and despite my reaching out, twice, to the personal email of the HR professional managing this, she never responded. Just very unprofessional - people commit time and energy to interviews. If it's a no, you should communicate that.
