I had two rounds of interviews. The first was with a recruiter. Typical questions like 'why are you looking to change jobs', 'why Scout', 'tell me about your automotive experience', and 'how many years of experience do you have with this product'. Second interview was with the hiring manager, and he talked for the first 35 minutes of a 45 minute interview. He asked right away how many years of experience I had, which is a question I had already answered in the first interview. I gave the same answer - less than they were looking for, but I was honest. It was clear in the first five minutes that the manager wasn't going to hire me. It was a very big waste of time for all of us since it was based on experience and I already answered the same question the first time. He asked two STAR questions in the last 10-15 minutes.
