      Application

I applied through university. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Scouting America in Aug 2009

      Interview

During a college career fair, I spoke with a Representative. They asked typical questions like why are you interested in us, what experience do you have, etc. I wrote down my information and he gave me a business card. Several days later I was contacted to have an on-campus interview. I was interviewed by two people. First, I had to go take this quiz on a computer. It was a basic personality quiz asking you how you would react or what you would do in certain situations, are you a leader or a follower, etc. Then I came back and they called to find out my score. I passed so the interview continued. They asked the typical questions: where do you see yourself in 5 years?, how do you feel about working with a variety of people?, what is it you are looking to gain from this position?, etc. Then at the end they gave me an application to fill out and mail. Several weeks later I was contacted by a branch to schedule a phone interview. Phone interview was a teleconference with two people interviewing you. They asked the standard questions and some new ones such as Why would you be bad at this job? What skills do you lack to succeed? If your past employer could rate you on a scale of 1 to 10, what would it be and why? What are your strengths and weaknesses? I ended up removing myself from the process as I found something closer to home.
