I applied online. I interviewed at Scribendi (Ottawa, ON)
Interview
Test of editing skills followed by virtual interview. The test was taxing in that you have to edit work written by someone for whom English is not their first language (the majority of the clients). I have a lot of experience with this, but if you don't, it can be frustrating. I think it took a couple of hours.
Interview questions [2]

Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Provide in line edits and comments on 3 different essays. Give overall feedback on the argument
After taking a proficiency test, I had a video interview with the recruiter and then they contacted my references (3). Every reference later told me that the person who contacted them made them feel uncomfortable. The questions were "awkward" and "aggressive." So be careful who you give them as a reference.
