I applied online. I interviewed at Sealed in Apr 2026
Interview
Poor audio quality during the call with the CTO, as he was taking his dog for a walk. So of course he wasn't looking at my resume nor was he paying full attention. No HR or talent acquisition screen, just straight to the CTO — a sign they lack structure and process. CTO made no attempt to understand me, allay my nerves, or boost my confidence — a sign that he lacked heart and EQ. Finally his pitch to work here at Sealed was very weak — of course everyone says their team is great, friendly, and collaborative. Who wouldn’t say that? He said nothing that made Sealed unique or appealilng.

Question 1
They ask many questions about times where you had to solve difficult problems and how you treated customers in the past. They want to see if you can have difficult discussions with customers while having empathy for their situation. They are looking for problem solvers that take a proactive approach and are capable of making decisions on their own.
