Application was rejected in less than 24 hours, even though I've had the same job before at a different company.
Process includes a 5 page questionnaire.
They say it takes no more than 30 minutes to finish, but anyone taking this process seriously would spend WAY more than 30 minutes on this.
It's really a grueling and exhausting way to begin an employer/employee relationship.
While the company is looking for candidates to make a great first impression, I don't think THEY are making themselves look very attractive to job seekers with the way they have their application process set up.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked about everything. Salary. How you approach project planning. How you adjust to change. Difficult situations you've been in. What software you've used. Many more questions.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at SearchTides in Sept 2020
Interview
Applied on AngelList, got an email from HR to fill out a "30-minute" questionnaire which was 5 pages long, and 3 full pages of essay type questions explaining your experiences and behavioral type questions. I hate these types of companies that interview this way, it's so generic and no one even spends the time to read it fully. Maybe try what most companies do and actually pick up the phone to talk to them to get to know them and you can get a better feel for a candidate. Total waste of time and it definitely took longer than 30 minutes. Not worth and would not recommend. I submitted my answers and got rejected almost immediately through an automated email and have yet to hear back from HR.
