      Customer Success Manager Interview

      25 Jun 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Secureframe in Jun 2025

      Interview

The interview process is extremely lengthy and tedious. They make you present a case in week 4 in the interview process without taking into consideration that you squeezed them into your own working schedule. After an hour long presentation and 3 hours I've spent making slides and studying their product, they said I wasn't enthusiastic enough.

      Customer Success Manager Interview

      26 Sept 2022
      Anonymous interview candidate
      San Francisco, CA
      Declined offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Secureframe (San Francisco, CA) in Sept 2022

      Interview

Very long, tedious process but I genuinely liked many of the steps because it helped me understand the culture and the people I would be working with. Steps: 1. Phone screen w/ recruiter 2. 45 minute behavioral w/ hiring manager 3. take-home assignment 4. presentation of take-home assignment 5. Resume deep-dive interview 6. virtual onsite 7. 45 minutes with c-level executive Overall I really enjoyed the experience. BUT please be warned. I was told the compensation on the very first call with the recruiter. This was then confirmed to me two other times by hiring managers. When they gave me the offer it was 30% LOWER than the number I was told originally. Please make sure if you go through the process with them you get it in writing that that is the compensation you will receive at the end stage when they give you an offer. This is unacceptable given the month and 7 rounds of interviews I spent with this company. The offer is much lower than what I am currently making and would never have accepted a second call had I known this compensation would be the outcome. This is unsettling to say the least - especially because everyone was incredibly genuine. This was also very frustrating because they had already spoken with all of my references before they told me the salary change. I declined my offer, know your worth!
