I applied in-person. I interviewed at Securitas (Oslo) in May 2026
Interview
Initially fast pace, which is great, then misunderstandings began. Had two interviews on site. Generally speaking OK interviews with head of department, recruiter and another person. During the second interview, recruiter trainee looked like he was falling asleep. The practise in Norway is to get a tentative offer in writing, then check references. I got asked to provide referenced without initial entry offer which I though unusual, when asked about the benefit got information of benefits over the phone, they were not competetive in any way. There was rather unpleasant situation when I recalled recruiter saying the base salary may stretch to certain number, although this was a maybe- the Hiring Manager denied this could have communicated, which was confusing. I do know what I heard and why I entered the process. I felt pressured to take a decision on giving references/ meaning entering offer stage on the day, latest the day after. Havent heard from anyone for a week and had to follow up myself. One reference never got called up in the end, although initial contact was made to them to ask when is bes to connect, no one from Securitas did call. Second reference was reached out to, according to recruitment team but has not come back with feedback/availability. I was not made aware of that, could have called reference to ensure they checked their email etc. Overall therefore my experience was positive at the start, negative thereafter.

Question 1
Q evolved around the role, experience and later follow up after the personality test.
Its very easy, they only ask you about your knowlegde on cctv systems (its the focus) and they tell you about your role in the company. At least, you had to remember what its the interviewer asking you,
Interview with 2-people, followed by a quick tests to complete in my free time. Questions directly on the job spec, and interest in the role. Was friendly and not overly formal.
