I had a screening phone call with the HR recruiter, and then a few days later, I had an in-person interview. It started with a panel interview with three people, which included a mix of situational and behavioral questions. The panel interview took an hour, and next, I had an interview with the CFO to discuss the role, which lasted about another hour. Everyone was very professional and nice. I was told there would be a decision in two weeks. I followed up by email, and the HR recruiter contacted me by phone to inform me that they had chosen another candidate. Although I wasn’t happy about the decision, I appreciated them telling me their decision.
