Phone interview that seemed to go well. It took over two months to get any feedback and I was told that the position had been changed. I then was contacted and told that the original position had been filled. My impression was that the process was disorganized and like the previous review, there was not funding for the position. From my view, if you are accustomed to a competitive salary and you are over 40, you need not apply.

Interviewed in person by direct manager. Interviewed by other managers and future peers. Relaxed atmosphere. They are very diligent in determining whether a startup company environment fits the interviewee's personality. Great opportunity to ask questions during the interview. Fairly short process. If the candidate is a fit they will move fairly quickly. If things are moving along slowly, most likely they don't have the funding to support the role, or they are looking for another candidate with different skills/experience.
