I had a very positive interview experience overall. The entire process was well-structured, efficient, and completed within two weeks, after which I received and accepted the offer.
The process included:
* Initial HR screening – A friendly introduction covering background, role expectations, and general fit.
* Technical & cultural round – With a Support Manager and Lead Developer, focusing on experience and how I approach problem-solving.
* Deep technical round – This was the most challenging and interesting stage, covering Java, Spring, microservices, and databases (MySQL). There were also scenario-based questions, such as handling concurrent reads/writes on the same database and ensuring data consistency.
* Managerial round – Focused on understanding the nature of the work, team expectations, and how my experience aligns with their needs.
* Final round with Co-founder – A great two-way conversation, more like a discussion than an interview. Very engaging and insightful.
Overall, the interviewers were knowledgeable, approachable, and genuinely interested in understanding both technical depth and cultural fit. The process was smooth, transparent, and moved quickly.
