The interview process was great.
First round was a 15 minute Google Hangout call with the hiring manager.
Second round was a 45 minute call with my would-be manager.
Final round was three 15 minute calls with different internal teams.
Everything went very well. Everyone was very kind and informative, and I received great feedback at every step. After the final round, I was told that they would be deciding between me and a couple other candidates, and that I should expect to hear back from them the following week.
That was the last I heard from them. It was a disappointing end to an otherwise positive experience. I didn't feel entitled to the position; I'm sure they made a prudent decision to move forward with a different candidate. But I did feel entitled to the feedback that was promised, or at the very least, an email informing me that they had decided to go in a different direction.
That lack of follow-up, particularly when the pool had been whittled to just a few candidates, is something I felt needed to be mentioned. Any candidate that gives you 3 interviews worth of their time deserves that courtesy.
That oversight aside, they were all very nice people and I wish Seniorly the best!
