Following a short screening call with recruitment, I was sent a coding task to complete. The task was not difficult, but seemed to be designed for data scientists more than epidemiologists. After this there were two interviews with the team. I also had to deliver a short presentation in one of the team interviews. I found the job description a bit unclear and it seemed like they were looking for a senior epidemiologist. The interview questions tended to be quite technical about epidemiological definitions and concepts.

The interview process was really haphazard, when I eventually had the face to face, the interviewer stressed the instability of the company, discouraging me from proceeding with the process. I'm glad it went this way as I avoided a potentially terrible situation.

The recruiter was very nice and friendly. The questions are relatively easy.
However, my expertise is in their further development and not immediately needed, so the hiring process parked.
