I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ServiceNow in Jun 2020
Interview
One person from HR contacted me. He was thoroughly professional and very helpful at each round. He followed up before each zoom call and ensured smooth interview process. Had 3 tech rounds, one manager round and 2 director level rounds. Technical panel was great and treated me with a lot of respect. If you are strong in JavaScript concepts and web concepts then you would do well. One thing I particularly liked was that each interviewer was helpful during the interviews and discussed problems as if peers work in the same projects. Subsequent rounds with leadership were also similar where they tried to gauge the strength, attitude and fitment. Was impressed with the leadership team due to their clarity of thought and detailed answers. Overall, it was a nice experience.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They covered wide range of questions from JavaScript concepts to patterns, web security, web performance etc.
The process was straightforward: phone screen, meeting with the hiring manager, three more interviews with team members and department head involving technical and behavioral questions. However, at the end of it all, even though they said they wanted to proceed to hire me, they stated they did not (yet) have a budget/headcount available for the position and wouldn't be able to make an offer until next quarter IF they get the budget... so why were they interviewing for the position now in the first place? Frustrating to have spent all that time interviewing only to learn this AFTER the whole process.
