I applied online and got a response from the recruiter a week after to arrange a phone interview. She ended up calling me 30 minutes late claiming that "the interview did not show up on her calendar". The first question she asked was whether I have an Irish citizenship. When I mentioned no, she did not want to proceed further stating that they could only hire Irish citizens for the position then proceeded to ask me what my nationality was afterward. She said she would ask the hiring manager whether to proceed with me and managed to never respond to me again - even after multiple follow ups. This was the first time something like this ever happened to me. Servicenow was one of my top company choices for a long time, but I am disheartened by this interaction and quite frankly felt discriminated against by the recruiter. For a company to boast about diversity and inclusion so much, the "we only hire citizens of Ireland" was a slap in the face.
