The interview was a technical interview. They put me on a voice call with an engineer from India and they asked me a wide variety of questions. I informed them previously of what my skills were, however they quizzed me on languages I didn't know regardless.
They quizzed me from everything to Javascript, Java, SQL, etc. At one point I had answered a question and got the correct answer however it did not match the exact answer as the engineer's page and he was arguing with me. I had to prove my solution would get the same result.
At the end of the interview, they asked me to do some logic programming test. I was underprepared and wasn't able to complete the test, however I was very confused about what he was trying to ask me to do and he gave almost no guidance or assistance but wanted me to complete it and went over time by 15 minutes.
Eventually, I got an email back informing me that due to COVID they had to cancel the internship.
Overall, I felt this was a bit demanding and difficult internship interview for a position that pays 18/hr and requires you to work full-time hours. It seemed as if they wanted another developer and just wanted to get the intership student write off.
