I applied online. I interviewed at Shipt (Bothell, WA) in Mar 2021
Interview
The interview consisted of a 30 second video where you film yourself and explain your name and where you live and a question that had nothing to do with the job.
My "application" was rejected. I feel this is because of my gender, my race and my age as is plainly seen in the video. The video "interview" is a way that Shipt can easily profile applicants and practice discrimination.
I didn't need a video interview to work for Instacart and I have been doing so for many weeks with great success.
I have spent 20 years in the delivery business and I love interacting with customers. I also have spent many years volunteering to help people. But, none of that mattered in this specious, silly and irrelevant interview process.
I was given NO reason why my application was rejected and applicants are not given a second chance to apply.
All in all, this was a horrible experience and a complete waste of time.

Question 1
What is something you've done wrong in your life and how did you resolve it?
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Shipt (New York, NY) in Apr 2020
Interview
Easy, but it varies which is kind of confusing. I had to make a video about myself in various parts while others simply had to state their name in a video and thats it.
