The interview process was smooth and frictionless from start to finish. Communication from the recruiting team was punctual, detailed, and consistent, which made me feel extremely well prepared and confident going into every stage of the process.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Shopmonkey (Larkspur, CA) in Feb 2026
Interview
My favorite interview process out of all the SDR positions I applied for. Process moved quickly, interviewers were high energy and super nice making it easier to talk, didn't ask random questions.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Shopmonkey in Jun 2025
Interview
I had a long but very positive interview experience with ShopMonkey. Nothing but good things to say about Sue and the entire team I spoke with, including both co-founders and the CCO. I advanced to the final round, but unfortunately, the hiring needs shifted toward the end of the process.
One thing that stood out to me was how deeply invested and passionate everyone was about the company’s mission and values. It was clear that ShopMonkey cares not just about hiring for skills, but for cultural alignment as well. The CEO, Ashot, was also a pleasure to speak with — thoughtful, transparent, and genuinely enthusiastic about the company’s future.
Although I didn’t end up joining the team, I left with a great impression of the people and the culture. I’d love the chance to reconnect for future opportunities.
