I applied through university. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Siemens (Mississippi State, MS) in Oct 2015
Interview
On campus interview, they called an hour before to offer me the interview, so I had no time to prepare. This may have worked in my favor, I passed my first interview round and was given my second interview later that afternoon. I liked how quickly they were with the process, and within a week I had been offered the job.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Siemens (Orlando, FL) in Jun 2012
Interview
I applied online and several weeks passed before I received a call from a recruiter. The call was to schedule an interview the following week. The interview was 2 on 1 and consisted of many questions about previous work experience and knowledge with computer applications. The interview seemed to have gone well, although it did feel rather short. I was told I'd be getting a call back but never did.
