I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Sight Sciences in Aug 2024
Interview
The call went very well with HR, but I ultimately never made it to the second round because they were asking a staff level engineer to take a pay and title cut to take on an engineer level II role. The first round was easy, just basic questions, nothing too technical. But they repeatedly state how the company was "big on promotions" to try and lure better talent in. It seemed as if they were trying to take advantage of the market and get higher talent for lower pay.

Interview
Interviewed during the pandemic and the Interviewer didn’t wear a mask making it feel as though I should follow suit. The interviewer was very curt and unfriendly and seemed not to care about interviewing me.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Sight Sciences (Menlo Park, CA) in Dec 2021
Interview
I spoke with the direct hiring manager, the VP of HR along with a handful of other VP's within the business. A very positive experience that definitely kept on my toes. It was great speaking to different people within the organization in order to get a good idea of culture from multiple perspectives.
