Interview
I had a phone screen with an engineer. He asked me to complete a "homework assignment" (which was just a copied question from LeetCode). Though solutions existed online, I wrote my own and sent a well-tested copy to the engineer. Nearly two weeks later, I get an automated rejection email saying that, based upon the phone screen, that they were not going to proceed. Why bother with the homework assignment then?

Got a call from recruiter and scheduled a call with Manager. Described my expectations and my past experiences and also talk about the relevant things. And he said they would schedule a round but instead got a reject.

Interview
Three steps:
1 - Telephone screen with development manager
2 - Telephone/web coding interview with an engineer
3 - On-site interview - 3.5 hours with multiple architecture/coding/culture fit sessions
They did a fantastic job of hosting the architecture/coding interviews in a way that was collaborative (like real life would be at a job). It felt like we were solving problems together, rather than an applicant taking a quiz. The difficulty was appropriate...challenging but doable.
They also did a great job asking relevant questions to get to the core of my background and skills. And they were excellent at painting the picture of SignalFX's technology and culture.
