Simon & Schuster interview questions

Had several rounds of interviews for an associate role. Second round was in-person in the New York City office. I was scheduled to meet with 2 people and was shepherded to a third without warning.

I applied online and was invited to a Teams interview with the hiring manager and their manager and then second interview as a face to face one with the same people. However after the interview, there was no word from the company. Even after following up with the HR, there was no response. It is extremely unprofessional to ghost candidates after they spent time and energy to prepare and turn up at the interviews to then not informing them of the decision at the end of the process!
