The interview process consisted of three rounds. First was a phone screening with a Talent Acquisition representative to discuss my background and interest in the internship. Next was a virtual interview with an engineer that included behavioral questions along with a few basic technical questions focused on conceptual understanding rather than calculations. The final round was an in-person interview at the office. I received an itinerary beforehand, which included a one-on-one interview with the principals followed by a panel interview with about four engineers. During the panel interview, I was asked to solve a structural engineering problem by sketching the deflected shape of a loaded beam with multiple supports. Overall, the interviewers were professional and friendly, and the process was well organized.
