Very good proces with take home assignment, backend coding round
frontend coding round
and a final system design round.
All the rounds are well thought out and are test candidates thought process
I applied online. I interviewed at Skillsoft (Hyderābād) in Dec 2025
Interview
1. AI interview - this can go for more than 2 hour as well depending how you're answering
2.Technical R1 - Basic node js and react question to code
3.Technical R2 - NO the most idiotic round you can have, the guy only knew java and came to take javascript interview and in that he wanted to see my current company code and with that he wanted to see the product -which shoudn't be asked its not legal to show the code to someone else, and after that he asked my salary and expectation that too in technical round, the most idotic thing can happen in the interview, and the he was not techincally strong in the javascript background, he was searching questions online and then asking.
And he rejected me after this so better avoid to give interview here, its waste of time here

Question 1
Basic react and node question and few design thinking questions
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Skillsoft (New York, NY) in Jun 2023
Interview
Was referred internally. - A recruiter phone screen - Hiring manager screen - Take Home Project - Choose either API or UI After the Take Home Project the recruiting team asked for availability, they never scheduled. After being prompted for two weeks, they requested new availability. Upon being provided the availability they scheduled the virtual onsite as described below on 3 separate days, which i felt was actively inconsiderate to my time. - 3 Part Virtual Onsite - Frontend Coding (you'll do a project opposite of what you choose for your take home) - One Engineer - React project - Backend Take-home Assignment as well as go over Backend Architecture & Design. - One Engineer - Did not go over backend take-home assignment - The reason given was that the System Design question takes quite a bit of time. - Was asked to design a system for Educators, Students and Parents. - Include Models, API calls, Pseudo_UI descriptions - Hiring Manager Interview pt 2. - Two Engineering Managers (One is the hiring manager, the other is from another team) - This is a behavioral interview Ultimately was rejected, not just rejected, AUTO rejected. "no-reply" email Rejected without feedback. Pushed for feedback due to their values including "We are learners" and "We improve relentlessly" unfortunately they're an organization that operates on exclusivity and hypocrisy as well - "I’m afraid it is our policy to not share the responses of the interviewers."
