One of the most unprofessional interview experiences of my life.
First phone screen raised alarm bells. Interviewer asked me questions in a hesitant and robotic manner. Almost as if reading off of a script. Most telling was when I asked what opportunities there were for growth in the company, I received a round about answer that the interviewer clearly made up on the spot.
A week after the phone screen, I get an email from my interviewer that I had made it to their “onsite”. Except the title of the invitation she sent me clearly said “Skupos Recruiting Event - Data Operations”. And invitation said it was from 9:00am to 1:30pm. It sounded more like a job fair than an actual onsite.
Red flags galore, I decided to ghost my interviewer.
A day after the “onsite” invitation, I get a follow up email, asking if I can make it. I ignored it.
A few days later it is the weekend. I get a phone call in the middle of my Saturday from my interviewer, unprompted, asking if I can make the “onsite”.
It came off as so desperate and unprofessional, I just straight up hung up without answering her.
Something is off about this company. Avoid it like the plague.
