I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at SkyWest Airlines in Sept 2018
Interview
It was a Skype interview. The questions were mostly scenario based and there were a couple "tell me about a time" sort of questions. I thought it was pretty standard, although I had to really think hard about a stressful situation and how I handled it...I don't get stressed easily so there was a little added urgency in my retelling of the situation. They needed pilots badly before covid so I was told I got the job on the spot.

SkyWest’s interview process felt professional, welcoming, and well organized. Recruiters communicated clearly, valued candidates’ time, and created a supportive atmosphere. Questions were thoughtful and relevant, allowing personalities and experience to shine. Overall, the process reflected the company’s strong culture, high standards, and genuine commitment to employee success and long-term growth
Very relaxed. Had to prepare a lot on the topics addressed, but the interview was relatively straight forward with the studying I had done. I felt good in the interview and really was able to ask a lot of questions, learn more about the company, and it allowed me to know this is where I wanted to go.
