VP with whom I interviewed applauded my experience and personality and said I would receive an offer soon but that he was first “required” to interview a couple of other candidates. I then interviewed with his SVP and an underwriting leader. I was even told that after receiving my offer that perks such as a gift bag and a call from the CEO would follow on my first day. However, after a total of four interviews, I was told by the HR recruiter is email that I would not be receiving an offer and the job was posted again. I foolishly relied on the representations of a forthcoming offer and passed on other opportunities. I’ve read recently that if a company continues to promote a candidate through the interview process and then doesn’t hire anyone that the problem likely lies with the company and that seems to be the case with Skyward. Although I was initially disappointed, it worked about best that I was not given an opportunity to join this organization.
