Interview
Thorough three round interview process.
Initial: Single interviewer assessment, Meet and greet/candidate background discussion, discussion of responsibilities and the job role, travel, schedule.
Second: Demonstration of Technical skill, interview with wider engineering, team demonstrating knowledge of SCADA systems, PFC/FACTs technology testing, knowledge and understanding of substation safety and protocol.
Third: Further demonstration of technical competency, E2E testing and discussion of start dates, equipment kits, planning skills.

What is your experience with establishing communication and supervisory Control and Data Acquisition in an electrical engineering (Substation) environment?

Interview
Interview process was fairly simple. Normal technical questions were asked with some situational questions. Interviewed with 3 different individuals, each having their own set of questions and interests in my career. Overall fairly straightforward interview process.
