I applied and interviewed for two positions. Process started with a phone interview with the hiring manager/HR. When I was brought in for the first interview I waited in the lobby for a long time because the HR team was out of the office and apparently "forgot" my interview was scheduled then so the hiring manager had to greet me (red flag). I was told the names of who I would be interviewing with but it ended up being different people. The second interview for a different position I wasn't told who/how many I would interview with and it ended up being 8-10, which made that interview very long. Some people came in wearing leggings and tshirts and others admitted they hadn't even looked at my resume (red flags). I had to send multiple follow up emails as HR would tell me a decision would be made on a certain date and then days/weeks would go by (another red flag). The starting salary at Smartbrief for the ad trafficker position is a lot lower than others, especially for the DC area. I had a positive opinion of the company before my interviews, but after felt like they were disorganized at times and weren't completely upfront with me about the positions I interviewed for. The interview process was probably longer for me than what's typical, but after more than two months and two hours+ long interviews I felt strung along especially for an "entry level" job.
