The interview process was appropriately rigorous, as expected for a leadership role. The individuals I met throughout were thoughtful, passionate, and clearly experts in their respective areas. I participated in seven interviews, many of which extended beyond the scheduled time due to genuinely engaging and productive conversations.
While I was ultimately not selected for the role, what stood out most in my experience was not the outcome, but the way it was communicated. After committing significant time and energy to a thorough process—while balancing full-time responsibilities—the response I received was a generic rejection with no offer of feedback or insights.
I understand that not all companies are in a position to provide detailed feedback, but for a leadership-level candidate who has invested meaningfully in the process, a more thoughtful and personalized approach would have gone a long way in reinforcing a strong employer brand and candidate experience.
