      Account Executive Interview

      19 Aug 2022
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Houston, TX
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Smith (Houston, TX) in Jul 2022

      Interview

There were three interviews with a recruiter (office manager), two account managers, and a sales department leader. The first was over a phone, and the last two were over Microsoft Teams. The questions were fundamental for such a role. They emphasized the large volume of cold calling I had to be okay with.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

How would you overcome rejection? How many cold calls a work day can you do? What is your sales style?
