      Customer Success Manager (CSM) Interview

      26 Jan 2026
      Anonymous interview candidate
      San Francisco, CA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at SnapMagic (San Francisco, CA) in Jan 2026

      Interview

Pathetic, Toxic, Cold, and Heartless! I did the first interview, which was an alleged "two in one" process, where I asked the most basic questions you would hear if you were applying for a job at a retail store in the mall. I was then directed to my "SnapDay" of 4 interviews in office. One hour prior to my time in the office, I was notified that there was a conflict of schedules, and that they would have to reschedule them for the following week. Really? ONE HOUR before you realize there's a conflict? For all 4 of my interviews? Then 10 days later, my follow up was a generic response of "deciding to move forward, and thank you for your time", when I never got the chance to even do my second (or third round), no follow up to reschedule, not even a courtesy of reimbursing me for my travel expenses for them to cancel 1 hour prior. This is a TOXIC place, don't waste your time, they obviously do not care about people.

Thank you for sharing your experience. Our interview process is designed to evaluate fit at each stage, and when we determine early that there isn't a strong mutual fit, we believe it's more respectful of a candidate's time to not move them through additional rounds. We understand that the short notice and communication around the change was frustrating, and we've worked to improve how we handle those transitions so candidates have a clearer and more timely understanding of where they stand. We appreciate you taking the time to share this feedback. - SnapMagic Hiring Team
