I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Snapdocs (New York, NY) in Jun 2021
Interview
They removed the ability to run tests and check if the answer was correct inside Coder Pad. Then they forced me to use one language. And when I tried the code on my own... I realized their code was setup improperly. And the hiring manager was yawning and stretching over video while I was trying to concentrate. The entire team needs professional training.

Question 1
Calculate change at cash register without actually knowing the price of the product. Question made absolutely no sense.
Thanks for the feedback - we value the negative as much as the positive as it helps us continually improve.
I can’t speak to the details of how coder pad is configured for our tech screens, though I do know that our process yields extremely strong hires for our engineering team and the tech screen is a key element in that process. I am sorry to hear that the interviewer’s yawning threw you off your concentration. We provide frequent coaching to our interviewers in order to maintain our outstanding candidate experience, but interviewers do occasionally have bad days as it sounds was the case here.
Thanks again for the feedback and we wish you all the best in your job search.
