Asked questions on theory about basic C programming, like how to handle memory, garbage collection, data structures and algorithms. Answers were conversational rather than true or false style, and the interview flowed smoothly
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Snappymob (Kuala Lumpur) in Apr 2022
Interview
Had just one interview, which was nice since you don't have to go through multiple rounds. If you've got consulting experience plus some technical chops, you'll probably find it pretty easy to handle. They ask the kind of questions you'd expect if you've been in consulting - analytical stuff mixed with some technical bits.
The whole thing was actually a good experience. Nothing tricky or weird about it - they're pretty upfront about what they want to know, and the conversation flows naturally. No curveball questions or anything that'll throw you off.
It's definitely geared toward people who can think strategically but also understand the technical side of things. If that's your background, you should be fine. The interviewers were cool and made it feel more like a chat than an interrogation. Overall, it's the kind of interview process you wish more companies would do - simple, clear, and doesn't waste anyone's time.
