      Electrical Engineering Co-Op Interview

      16 Sept 2016
      Anonymous employee
      West Lafayette, IN
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at SoCore Energy (West Lafayette, IN) in Feb 2016

      Interview

Not too stressful. I got an email to visit them at the career fair at my college. I talked to an Engineer and he took down a lot of notes to take back to the office. Over the next 4 weeks I had 3 phone interviews with the HR coordinator and HR director and a skype interview with the lead design engineer. The questions weren't too technical but at the same time covered some basics of electrical engineering to have an idea of the candidate they are looking at. A lot of the questions made me seem that they were trying to see if i would fit in the team more than just raw technical knowledge which i really liked.
