I applied online. I interviewed at Socha Capital (Austin, TX) in Dec 2025
Interview
The recruiter keeps viewing my profile and they keep moving my resume past the first stage and then send an auto decline after I waste my time taking a personality test. Warning to admin - they hired someone - not me, but that person had a bad run with the ceo and they have been desperately trying to fill. I’m employed elsewhere with strong connects in aus and word on the street is bad. Avoid this org, they are shakey, low paying, and something is up with this guy and his HR person seems like a space cadet. My firm passed on doing biz with him at a 6 figure loss bc of the rep.

Interview
One of the worst interviewing experiences ever. First step is a personality and skills assessment which takes about 1 hour as well as a 10 minute recording talking about yourself. This all makes sense but the following steps is what kills the process.
After that it’s a 15min zoom interview with one of their recruiters. 15 minutes is not enough time for an initial interview and that is clearly shown by the fact that my interviewer had to reschedule our 1st interview and was 10 minutes late to the one that actually held. During this “interview” they barely told me anything about the position, just some of the basics that aren’t on the original job posting like hours and full compensation. So most of the conversation is just ask you to talk more about yourself, which you already did in the solo video and it’s really up to you to ask questions to get any type of info. At the end of this interview you are asked to take another 1 hour assessment on their CRM and assessing data. During this assessment they are just testing to see if you already know how to use their CRM or not as well as interpret data from their prospect notes.
Overall it seems like this company is looking to hire people they don’t want to train. The fact that you are asked to contribute over 2 hours of your time while they can barely contribute 15 minutes of there’s just shows what working for this place would be like. Also the fact that there are no employees reviews and only interviewer reviews doesn’t help their case. I’d stay away.
Applied online; asked to complete 6 personality tests, don't waste your time or make sure you check your email for the immediate rejection email after you start them so you don't waste your time.
