I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Social Discovery Group
Interview
It took their recruitment team quite some time to get back to me after I sent my resume, however after I was contacted by the hiring manager the process went quickly and rather smoothly.
I first had an initial screening with the hiring manager, then an assessment test, and upon completing it I received feedback in just a couple of days — it all happened within one week. At the interview, the hiring manager spoke in-depth about the role and were eager to responded to my questions.
However, I was deeply shocked by the language the hiring manager used to refer to LGBTQ. This wasn't a slur, and I believe it was unintentional, but it ruined the overall impression for me, which otherwise was quite positive. In 2023 you expect people to be more educated at least with regard to the appropriate politically correct language used to refer to minorities. It makes me wonder if the company that is active internationally and whose products' target audience includes LGBTQ+ community (for the record), actually pays attention to diversity and inclusion within the team and makes an effort to educate their staff (especially the recruiters) about such issues.
