I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Solotech (Montreal, QC) in Mar 2014
Interview
Your future manager and a human ressources cordinator interview you about your motivations to work at Solotech, your knowledge about what your post implies and if you are motivated to stay at the company. Preference for people knowledgeable about audio-visual technologies for shows and businesses.
Basically they want to be convinced that you are an autonomous individual who can be left on their own to make decisions and that you will work fast and well in the interests of sustaining the good reputation of the company.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Solotech (Orlando, FL) in Jan 2024
Interview
The first interview was by phone. It lasted about twenty minutes and my interviewer was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable about the company, the position, and what she was seeking in an employee. It was an enjoyable experience and afterwards I was scheduled for a second in-person interview at the company's location.
My second interview was with the Operations Manager and the Shop Supervisor. Both gentlemen were courteous and professional during the interview process, which was then followed by a tour of the facility.
Overall my interview experience with Solotech was positive and I believe I stand a good chance of being employed there.
