A verbal interview in which I was asked rather standard questions regarding my experience, which was followed by a practical exercise in which I was tasked with preparing numerous DNA sequences for Sanger sequencing.

The interview was quite laid back. I was interviewed by 2 people, the lab manager and another scientist. Friendly interview. They gave me a quick run down of what the job involved and showed me around the lab. The interview was relatively quick, I believe it only lasted for 30 minutes.
