SPSCC began with a delay. It took 2 months after applying to receive an invitation to interview via video. I accepted the invitation to interview in the following week. About 3 days later, I was asked to also give a 15-minute presentation on an Accounting topic. The hiring committee cut me off after 5 minutes into my presentation. This process was now rushed and disorganized. I was invited to interview on campus. The college paid only a portion of my travel costs. I was required to give another presentation on campus. There was another delay while I waited to hear a hiring decision. Ultimately, I was offered to teach one single class in the Fall, bait and switch. I accepted a full-time job at a university instead.
