I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Southern California Edison
Interview
The process extended over two months, a bit long in my book. All interviews were in person at the company's headquarters. I had to interview with multiple people and answer the same questions over and over.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Interview questions were mainly related to specific job duties. Safety is a big focus, so be prepared to talk about how you'd contribute to a safe working environment.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Southern California Edison (Rosemead, CA)
Interview
I interviewed several times at SCE. By HR guidelines, they have to interview at least 3-4 candidates. Internal and External. The majority of the time, they already selected who to plan to hire internally. If you're an outside candidate, you're wasting your time interviewing with them.
The "Rooney Rule," which requires teams to interview diverse candidates for roles totally applies to SCE.

Question 1
Mostly behavioral. E.g. Tell me a time when you overcame a difficult situation. How did you handle it?
The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Southern California Edison in Jun 2018
Interview
A TV was on in the conference room. One of the Directors conducting the interview was continually watching the TV during the interview. Very unprofessional, distracting and rude. I would not want to work for a company with executives with such poor manners.
