I interviewed at Southern Impression Homes (Jacksonville, FL)
Interview
Not too hard. Phone interview and in person interview. I followed up and was ghosted. Boo! I was quite disappointed as I thought I made a connection with the interviewers. I know a lot of companies do this when they reject someone, but honestly - if this is how they communicate, I’m no longer interested in this position anyway.
Received a phone call to schedule an interview, took an aptitude test. I was told I did very well on the aptitude test, but during the interview when the panel started talking about how much they loved their jobs and how they would work late into the night voluntarily because they "forgot to go home", I asked if that was mandatory as I have a family. I stated that I didn't mind working from home after hours but that I would have to leave at the end of the required work day as I had children. The entire energy of the interview shifted. Needless to say- I didn't get the job. If work-life balance is something you need, I'd suggest not wasting your time.
