In some stores you may go straight to an in store interview. Some stores also may ask you to do a trial shift or a make-up test depending on the skincare to make up ratio found in the store. If it is a make-up heavy store, they may require you to do a make-up test.

Had a zoom call which was positive, progressed to second stage, in store to regional manager who was really blunt and rude. I didn’t feel welcome and comfortable in the interview because manager was constantly giving me looks and making comments when I was answering questions. Another thing I noticed not much diversity within the role with people of color.
Easy interview. Went in store for interview with manager. Was asked about why I wanted to work in beauty and how my experience could contribute to the store. Was also asked about if I have any makeup experience and if I’ve heard of the store before.
