I got a phone call regarding my application without any prior notification. The HR person or whomever spoke to me over the phone did not seem very knowledgeable about HR expertise and asked very vague questions like “how come your French level is intermediate if you’re from the Middle East, because everyone in the Middle East speaks French? Says who? Although her English was broken and I doubt she speaks any French. The way she presented herself was unprofessional and I was not interested already. At the end of the call she said she will send me a skype link for a video interview “which she never did”. She could have easily say we will get back to you if we will go further instead. Even if they did I was not going to do another interview.
