After applying, I received a call for a quick interview/screening. After that, I had an interview with a SpaceX engineer. The interview was straight forward, but I was unprepared for that round of interviews.

Beam bending problem ... Given a cantilever beam with a load on the free end, where does the beam fail? How does the beam fail, what is the mechanism of the failure?
1st round phone interview, talked about portfolio and asked general behavioral questions. Talked about company projects and how I could apply my skills there. Recruiter was polite and showed genuine interest in my projects.

Describe the hardest challenge you faced during my projects.
Completely virtual, 3 30 minute phone calls, some technical questions and some resume questions. Overall not terrible and they definitely use a standard question bank because I have gotten similar questions.

There was an initial phone call. Next, there was another phone technical interview. They gave engineering questions that were more basic but difficult if you did not take the classes.
